Eagleview Resident Expands Her Listening Revolution with New School Program and Children’s Book

Christine Miles, M.S. Ed., has created an innovative system called The Listening Path that teaches people how to listen as a trained skill.

Exton resident Christine Miles, M.S. Ed., a leader in listening intelligence and founder of EQuipt, is on a mission to transform the way we connect, writes Felysha Walker for Village Voice.

Miles’ mission is to teach people how to truly listen. Her innovative system, The Listening Path, turns listening into a teachable and repeatable skill, already in use in Fortune 100 companies and classrooms across the U.S., Canada, and Ireland.

This fall, she is expanding her reach with the launch of a high school listening program and a children’s book titled The Listening Path: An Interactive Story Gathering Book of Listening to Understand. These new offerings aim to foster emotional intelligence and meaningful communication at every age.

“Listening is not about agreeing,” said Miles. “It’s about shining a light on someone’s story, so they feel truly seen.”

Originally trained as a therapist, Miles shifted her focus after noticing the same communication breakdowns in corporate environments that she saw in families. Her Listening Path system addresses these gaps with practical tools for schools and businesses, promoting better leadership, trust, and connection.

With national media recognition and partnerships with companies like SAP and Keck Medical, she is helping redefine success based on how well we listen.
