Billing Specialist
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Billing & Accounts Receivable
- Prepare and process accurate invoices for services provided by TLC programs.
- Track payments, monitor aging accounts, and ensure timely collections.
- Follow up on outstanding balances with internal departments, external clients, and funders.
- Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve invoicing issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of billing, receipts, adjustments, and financial transactions using accounting software.
- Generate and analyze monthly accounts receivable (AR) aging reports and provide updates to leadership.
- Apply accounting principles to support financial reconciliation, reporting, and audit preparation.
- Process and verify the accuracy of benefit-related invoices and coordinate with payroll for appropriate deductions.
- Support documentation and compliance for year-end audits and financial reviews.
HR Benefits Administration
- Assist in the enrollment, termination, and maintenance of employee benefit plans (medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, life insurance, disability, etc.).
- Serve as a liaison between employees and benefit providers to resolve claims or coverage issues.
- Educate staff on available benefits and assist during open enrollment periods.
- Maintain up-to-date employee benefit records and ensure data integrity in HRIS systems.
- Process benefit invoices, verify accuracy, and coordinate with payroll for deductions.
- Support HR team with compliance reporting (ACA, COBRA, ERISA, etc.).
Claims & Leave Management
- Process and track short-term disability, long-term disability, FMLA, and other leave claims.
- Communicate with employees, managers, and providers regarding claim status and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state leave laws and internal policies.
- Maintain confidential medical documentation in secure files.
Qualifications for this position:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing/accounts receivable and/or benefits administration.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and benefit platforms (e.g., Paycom) is a plus.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, FMLA, and employee benefit laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.

Director of Education
The Educational Director, based in Chester, leads the growth of students and educational programming.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and collaborative spirit, and be a great motivator and supervisor, working with staff on program and curriculum development, school and community outreach, and classroom and group management.
He/she will be responsible for overall program development, administration, and supervision of all education programs. The Educational Director will supervise a full-time High School and/or Middle School Program, full-time educators and counselors, interns, and consultants hired for the program.
He/she will be a key liaison between the administration and staff at the school, the sending districts, the Pennsylvania Department of Education, students, parents, and community partners.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for direct service for the Program including individual and group counseling/therapy, and oversight of classroom, as needed
- Oversight of the online grading system, overall Positive Behavioral Support Plan (PBSP), website,
- etc.
- Oversee the development and execution of educational programming and curriculum content consistent with mission and program goals.
- Ensure the development of appropriate curriculum plans. Foster the educational experience via hands-on, developmentally appropriate, and highly interactive methods, which are also consistent with PA academic standards.
- Develop procedures and policies for safe and effective operation of the overall program, including monthly fire drills.
- Hire and supervise educators, counselors, and consultants for the Program.
- Provide performance evaluation and feedback for all positions within the program.
- Orient and train staff to program, highlighting the process and learning opportunities.
- Plan and lead regular meetings with staff.
- Develop or coordinate professional development and curriculum support workshops, opportunities for staff on best practices in education, and out-of-school time programming.
- Be available to facilitate activities with youth participants, build relationships, and provide referrals and support.
- Be responsible for reviewing all student referrals and facilitating the admission process.
- Design a plan for staffing and implementation of the programs.
- Approve requests for expenditures for the budget.
- Be responsible for the submission of reports in a timely manner to the respective entities providing grants or contracts.
- Supervise and provide administrative guidance to the whole staff.
- Provide administrative intervention with other agencies at the Director level concerning problems or issues with programs.
- Provide liaison with other agencies at the Director level, including school districts, and interagency cooperation.
- Establish a system for evaluating programs and content to measure satisfaction and effectiveness.
- Establish performance standards for all personnel to ensure that contractual service objectives are met.
- Ensure performance targets are met.
- Develop and maintain records needed for program administration.
- Monitor program budget, provide needed information for financial reporting.
- Facilitate partnerships with appropriate public and private agencies that provide services to students and families to broaden the impact and reach of services and help position as a community resource.
- Participate on local and state committees or meetings related to programs, as necessary.

- PA Principal Certification and/or a valid teaching certificate.
- Experience with trauma treatment addressing issues of youth.
- Experience in the design, implementation, and budgeting of programs, with grant writing experience as an additional asset.
- Supervisory experience and knowledge of professional ethics and standards of conduct.

SAP School-based Counselor
The School Counselor will work within a guidance program for students in middle and/or high school in the Bensalem School District with a high degree of flexibility in serving the varied and diverse needs of the individual students.
The School Counselor will have a strong sense of compassion and commitment to helping people. The School Counselor will be able to work in a team-driven environment with social services personnel, educators, and parents.
The School Counselor shall possess a high degree of sensitivity, warmth, and empathy while maintaining consistency with program expectations to encourage academic, social, and personal growth.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
• Work within middle and/or high school guidance program that provides students with a safe and
non-judgmental way to voice their concerns or worries.
• Assist school administrators and educators with planning and carrying out school-related programs
and events.
• Analyze student performance in the classroom to provide guidance and identify potential
problems.
• Support the school IEP team and contribute to action items related to special education
requirements.
• Learn students’ names, career objectives and other details so to better serve them.
• Help students develop academic plans in accordance with their skills, talents, and
strengths.
• Work collaboratively with the multi-treatment team and other supportive staff.
• Facilitate crisis intervention and prevention programs.
• Communicate with teachers, parents, and administrators on an ongoing basis about behavioral and
academic problems.
• Provide counseling utilizing an individual and/or group format.
• Manage crises and ensure the safety of students at all times.
• Documentation must be completed on a daily basis.
