Executive Chef
Dunwoody Village is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and energetic Executive Chef to join its team. Reporting directly to the Director of Dining Services, this position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production, quality, training, and menu development, utilizing brand-new state-of-the-art kitchens and beautiful dining room venues.
The Executive Chef is responsible for hiring, training, and mentoring cooks, servers, and utility staff with varying levels of experience, ensuring the staff is knowledgeable about food safety and that service to our residents is a top priority.
A successful incumbent will perform the following:
- Embody and articulate the vision and mission of the organization inside and outside of the community.
- Exercise the leadership and management skills necessary to ensure that Dunwoody Village’s dining service program provides exceptional services and excellent food quality.
- Leads the sous chef, cooks, servers, and utility staff in a manner that consistently promotes decision-making, collaboration, and is based upon trust, openness, honesty, integrity, empowerment, and shared accountability for success.
- Cultivate/maintain constructive communication with residents, residents’ family members, and employees.
- Develop and implement innovative menus that cater to the diverse and ever-changing dining needs and preferences of our residents.
- Provide leadership/direction in the maintenance and enhancement of a workplace culture that attracts, supports, empowers, and retains dining service employees.
A successful incumbent will have the following experience/education/credentials:
- Strong working knowledge of a POS system.
- Ability to work evenings, holidays, and a weekend rotation.
- Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required) in Hotel/Restaurant/Institutional Management or a closely related field.
- 3-5 years of progressively responsible executive chef experience; experience in long-term care or healthcare is preferred.
- Ability/willingness to relate effectively to an educated and engaged resident community in a manner that embodies warmth, compassion, sensitivity, and enthusiasm; participates in the resident dining committee.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing top-tier customer service to all within the organization.
- Strong operational management skills combined with a commitment to mentorship and training staff who may have varying levels of experience.
- Laser-focused orientation to results with a keen understanding and commitment to detail, hospitality, customer service, and cleanliness.
- Congenial communication style with the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
- Commitment to safety and participating in the monthly Safety Committee Meetings. Investigate all employee safety incidents in a timely manner to ensure unsafe behaviors or workplace hazards are corrected.

Environmental Services Manager
Dunwoody Village is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and energetic Environmental Services Manager to join its team.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Campus Operations, this position will oversee aspects of the EVS operation in the independent living and regulated nursing areas and supervise and train the EVS technicians assigned to those areas. This position also works closely with the EVS supervisor.
The ideal candidate is a strong and fair leader with excellent customer service and time management skills. Dunwoody is seeking someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and who will lead by example. The manager serves as an integral member of the EVS Team, contributing to the department’s vision, mission, and strategic plan.
Key Assistant Environmental Services Manager responsibilities include:
- Supervisory experience in a health care setting – preferably within a continuing care retirement community is strongly preferred. Experience and a strong desire to work with older adults are crucial.
- Maintain the highest quality standards in the EVS department.
- Provide leadership, training, guidance, and direction to a staff of approximately 40 employees. This includes annual staff performance reviews.
- Possesses excellent written, verbal, and computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Outlook, and Excel) and the ability to learn our payroll system (Ceridian Dayforce) and manage it on behalf of the entire department.
- Manage work schedule for the entire department, including replacing employees as warranted.
- Address and prioritize multiple requests throughout the day.
- Oversee the “move-in” process as new residents move to Dunwoody Village.
- Attend various committee meetings as appropriate and as requested by the departmental director.

CNA
Dunwoody Village is currently seeking dedicated and caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to fill part-time weekday and weekend openings on the 11 PM-7AM shift.
The part-time CNAs should be able to work every other weekend, participate in a holiday rotation, and understand that they will be required to work on any of the various units.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) job duties include providing exceptional resident care according to the Plan of Care, assisting residents with personal care and hygiene, and maintaining a safe environment for both residents and colleagues.
Eligible candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Point Click Care experience strongly preferred.
- Must be a PA-licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with current CPR certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of long-term care experience and excellent assessment skills.
All offers of positions are contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, satisfactory references, an Influenza record, and a drug screen.
