Chester County Recognized with Best of Philly Designation in Fun and Games Category 

Philadelphia Magazine recognizes several Chester County experiences with the Best of Philly designation in the Fun and Games category.

Philadelphia Magazine recently recognized several Chester County experiences with the Best of Philly designation in the Fun and Games category. 

FarmerJawn Tour, which takes participants out to West Chester’s FarmerJawn, was named Best Field Trip. The tour offers an inside look at how a farm operates, and the $10 bus ticket can be applied toward any purchase over $30 of fresh produce at the farm’s store.

The tour departs from the Lemon Hill baseball field each Saturday. Once at the farm, owner Christa Barfield explains the day-to-day operations of running a farm. 

Sunset Valley Farm in West Chester earned the Best Class for Future Equestrians designation. Set on 48 bucolic acres, the farm offers riding lessons for all skill levels. 

Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square was recognized for Best Expansion. Thanks to its stunning new buildings and expanded, these lush gardens make the iconic attraction even more breathtaking than before. 

Finally, Ball Busters Women’s Pinball League in Malvern was named Best Women’s “Sports” League. Dedicated to the classic game of pinball, the weekly event runs in nine-week sessions at Pinball Gallery on Wednesday nights, offering a fun and competitive space for players of all skill levels.
