Inspired by Students and Community, Coatesville Artist Gifts Painting to Her Son’s School

Jacqueline Rose throws up a peace sign as she gifts the painting, seen behind her with Principal Maria Stauffer and Assistant Principal Jeff Kuciapinski.

Rainbow Elementary School in Coatesville was gifted a special piece of artwork by one of their graduating students’ mothers, writes Bill Rettew for The Daily Local News

Jacqueline Rose, a local professional artist, has depicted her son’s five years of education at Rainbow Elementary in the form of acrylic paint.

“It’s a true reflection on what a school should be — a reflection of our school community,” said Principal Maria Stauffer. “Our community members engage with our school environment on a level that reflects her experience here, and her love comes from the heart. We can see a piece of us.”

Rose’s art is described as Contemporary Abstract Colorist, bringing vibrancy to life-like inspiration. The painting was inspired by the students, faculty, and staff to show thanks for fostering an environment that helped her son learn to love school.

The 4-by-5-foot painting is layered. Details include books written by school employees, the school’s mascot, song lyrics, and stuffed animals.

Upon gifting the painting, Rose thanked Rainbow Elementary School for their support and kindness as her son graduates and continues on to middle school.
