Kathy M. was recently recognized by CCRES Board of Directors for her outstanding services.

Kathy joined the CCRES team as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) at the start of the last school year and has quickly established herself as a motivated and exceptional team member.

She brought with her 15 years of experience in special education classrooms, which has fostered her passion and love for working in special education.

This passion is evident in her daily interactions with students. Kathy’s supervisor shared that she has been a wonderful addition to the support staff.

She willingly moves around the building to support various students without hesitation or complaint. Her flexibility is especially appreciated when coverage is needed.

Kathy is a great communicator and team player, and she is valued by all for her kindness and adaptability.

CCRES was created in 1999 through a partnership with the Chester County Intermediate Unit to meet the growing need for behavioral health services for children in Chester County and as a vehicle to give back to the community.

CCRES has grown and now provides vital support for children, families, and adults with a range of challenges, including autism, behavioral health issues, mental illness, as well as intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.

CCRES also provides a variety of experienced school administrators to educational agencies throughout the region, working with school districts, intermediate units, and other programs.

It continues to expand into neighboring counties, including Berks, Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, Lebanon, and Lancaster.
