As a Certified Financial Planner at FPA Wealth Management and the Founder of his sustainable fashion brand Allen Paca Knitwear, Robby Kedra balances spreadsheets and style with precision and passion.
Born in Delaware County, Kedra grew up in Aldan before moving to Lansdowne around age 10. His entrepreneurial drive started early, and he held various odd jobs before landing his first official position at a medical alert company, refurbishing devices and learning the behind-the-scenes operations of a small business. That early exposure to business laid the groundwork for his career path.
A graduate of Upper Darby High School (Class of 2013), Kedra earned a bachelor’s in Business Administration from Delaware Valley University, graduating Cum Laude. While at DelVal, he was involved in the Business Honors Society, Business Club, and Investment Club. His academic achievements earned him the Departmental Achievement Award — an honor given to one standout senior from the business program.
After college, Kedra earned several industry credentials including the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, along with Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, and Life, Health & Annuities licensure. His day-to-day at FPA Wealth Management includes creating personalized financial plans for clients, focusing on everything from investments to estate and business planning.
But finance isn’t his only focus; right after college, Kedra launched Allen Paca Knitwear, a sustainable clothing brand that reflects his commitment to style and social responsibility. From designing and marketing to organizing photo shoots and fashion events, Kedra thrives in the creative chaos of entrepreneurship.
“What I love most in both roles is the connection with people,” he said. “Helping a client reach financial security or seeing someone light up wearing something I created — that’s the reward.”
Kedra cites his proudest professional moment as passing the grueling CFP exam, which requires years of coursework and thousands of hours of experience.
“The exam is a true test of knowledge, ethics, and endurance,” he said. “Earning the CFP designation meant I could offer my clients the highest standard of financial guidance.”
Kedra credits much of his journey to his professors at Delaware Valley University. One mentor encouraged his early venture into alpaca apparel, helping him build confidence through the school’s Small Business and Entrepreneurship Center. Another professor guided him toward a finance career that he once never imagined pursuing.
Outside of work, Kedra enjoys local hotspots like Greystone Oyster Bar and Slow Hand in West Chester.
