While the majority of municipalities recorded a drop in population over the past three years, some have managed to grow each year, writes Chris Ullery for the Bucks County Courier Times.
To find the fourteen fastest-growing towns in the Keystone State, USA Today reviewed recently released municipal-level census estimates for the period from 2020 through 2023.
Most of the towns that made the list are in the Philadelphia area, and four are in Chester County.
Kennett Square ranked highest at No. 3. The town grew by 9.86 percent in the three-year period, from 5,936 residents to 6,521 residents.
Close behind is Spring City at No. 4, which grew its population by 9.62 percent from 3,494 residents to 3,830 residents.
Next is Sadsbury Township at No. 5. The town recorded a 9.24 percent increase in population, from 4,125 residents to 4,506 residents.
Finally, Phoenixville ranked at No. 8 with a growth of 6.82 percent. The town saw its population increase from 18,602 residents to 19,871 residents.
