Pennsylvania has seen a major transformation in its urban landscape over the past 10 years in terms of home value, writes Jon Dykstra for Home Stratosphere.
Zillow analyzed 346 neighborhoods across the state to determine the top performing between 2014 and 2024, and 10 Philadelphia neighborhoods made its way to the top 30.
The West Parkside neighborhood saw a 193.9 percent gain from $30,566 to $89,837.
Mill Creek posted a 197 percent increase from $32,405 to $96,232.
Glenwood experienced a 198.7 percent rise from $25,602 to $76,470.
The Sharswood neighborhood saw 207.9 percent growth from $59,716 to $183,858.
Meanwhile, Nicetown demonstrated a 210.2 percent gain from $27,028 to $83,831.
Tioga displayed a 216.4 percent increase from $30,504 to $96,505.
The Belmont neighborhood saw its value increase from $34,096 to $112,181, representing a 229 percent increase.
In Franklinville, there has been a 230.6 percent gain, from $24,790 to $81,956.
The Dunlap area saw a 254.3 percent increase, from $35,049 to $124,182.
Rounding out the list is Brewerytown, where home values increased by 256.6 percent, from $51,445 to $183,446.
