Twin brothers Jack and Red Thomas, from Malvern, created ‘Duo for Diapers,’ a program that provides diapers to families in need, writes Matteo Iadonisi for ABC 7.
“This whole thing started about a year ago,” said Jack. “We’re looking for a way to help the community. We did research and we found out that diapers are a pretty basic necessity.”
Founded by the 18-year-olds in 2023, Duo for Diapers collects and donates diapers to diaper banks. The Thomas brothers have totaled around 12,000 diapers since starting the organization.
Recently, Duo for Diapers donated to an organization called ‘Pamper and Diaper My Baby.’ This organization was founded by Doris and Sa’Adia Washington and provides low-income families with free diapers, pull-ups, and baby wipes.
Jack and Red have enjoyed working alongside each other to achieve this important goal.
