Nineteen-year-old Henry Luce won a Miles Teller look-alike contest in Philadelphia on Sunday, defeating 21 other participants and paying homage to the Downingtown actor, writes Michelle Myers for The Philadelphia Inquirer

Luce came prepared, mirroring the look the Whiplash actor sported in his first headshot.

“Unless the actual Miles Teller comes, he is going to win,” said Luce’s mother, Kristin Keiser

Sales director Joe Ems came in wearing a green bomber jacket and jeans, sporting the look from Teller’s hit movie, Top Gun: Maverick. College students Ellie Clark and Luiza Sulea blended in seamlessly with their sunglasses, hair tied in buns, and playful drawn-on mustaches.

“We are here for the bit,” said Clark.

The contestants were quickly surrounded by hundreds of people, eager to watch the competition.

Seven contestants made it to the second round, before Luce was crowned a winner.

“Everyone here does look like Miles Teller but they are wearing costumes; I just put on a [red Phillies] sweater that I wear every day,” said Luce. “This is just me.”

For winning first place, the marketing and supply chain major at Pennsylvania State University was rewarded with his first Angelo’s Cooper sharp cheesesteak.
