If you prefer black clothing, there’s a new boutique in West Chester that will be the perfect shopping experience, writes Christine Speer Lejeune for Philadelphia Magazine.
It doesn’t have to be October to don some moody, black clothing. Some of us prefer to dress in head-to-toe black clothing all year around, some need a black statement piece for a wedding or other fancy affair, and some just like to sprinkle black clothing into our wardrobe for variety.
Whichever category you may fall into, West Chester’s new boutique DRK MTTR is the place to find your next all-black outfit.
DRK MTTR specializes in black clothing, accessories, and shoes; selling nothing of color. The owner, Courtney McGee, gives a friendly greeting to all her customers that pass through. She has a deep passion for the contemporary fashion she has curated in the boutique.
It is packed with cool, vintage finds, including Rick Owens ankle boots, Vivienne Tam satin jackets, and Oleg Cassini slip dresses.
McGee has a specific vision when it comes to her store. She doesn’t shop new, instead opting to stock “great fashion that’s already out there,” as she said.
McGee strives to be inclusive, stocking a range of different prices, styles, and sizes. She offers clothing, accessories, and shoes for all genders.
