Join the Chester County Food Bank (CCFB) on Sept. 19, from 12-12:45 PM, at the historic courthouse steps in West Chester (2 N. High St.) for an inspiring Rally Against Hunger. Come together with elected officials, community leaders, food relief organizations, and neighbors to stand up against hunger in Chester County.
September is Hunger Action Month, and the heart of this month’s purpose lies in raising awareness and empowering the community to act. Advocacy is central to the Food Bank’s mission, and it counts on public support to help accomplish goals.
Community participation is crucial to create a future where everyone has access to nutritious food. Be part of this important movement and help the Food Bank make a lasting impact. While RSVPing isn’t mandatory, the Chester County Food Bank would greatly appreciate knowing if you’ll be there.
In addition to rallying for hunger on Sept. 19, you can also aid the Food Bank by joining its Monthly Giving Community: Beyond Hunger 365. For the cost of one fancy coffee, you can help feed a neighbor in our community. The CCFB appreciates every single monetary donation and every item of food that comes from fundraisers and one-time donations. Hunger Action Month is a great time to become a part of the Beyond Hunger 365 monthly giving community. Also, be sure to check if your employer offers a matching incentive so you can double your impact.
