Chester County Food Bank Adds New Members to Board of Directors

The Chester County Food Bank recognizes the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors: Malcolm Weaver and Bob Hankin.

The Chester County Food Bank recognizes the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors. 

The following individuals are newly elected to the Board of Directors class of 2024: 

The following officers will continue to serve as the Chester County Food Bank’s Executive Committee: 

  • Dr. Bradley Dyer – Chair (Founder, All Star Pediatrics) 
  • Yvonne Bartlett, CPA – Vice Chair (Manager, Umbreit Wileczek & Associates) 
  • Ryan Walter – Treasurer (Managing Director/CFO, ProCFO Partners) 
  • Ed Breiner – Secretary (Retired, President & CEO Schramm) 
  • Robert D. McNeil – Founding Chair of Chester County Food Bank    

“We are excited to welcome these esteemed community leaders to our Board of Directors,” said Dr. Dyer, Chair of the Board. “Their wealth of experience, leadership, and dedication to our community make them valuable assets to our mission to ensuring access to healthy food for all.”

CCFB would like to thank and acknowledge the hard work and long-time dedication of Ruthie Kranz-Carl, retired Director of Chester County Human Services; Kevin McDermott of Delphi Wealth Management Group; and Kate Sheehan of Qurate Retail Group for their years of service to the Board.

Bob Hankin is the Chief Executive Officer of Hankin Group, a Chester County-based award-winning developer of large-scale, mixed-use communities. Hankin Group is a multi-faceted real estate organization with in-house construction, architecture and design, engineering, leasing, and property management teams. Since joining the company in 1987, Hankin has carried out a vision of creating distinctive communities and has become a pioneer in mixed-use development in Chester County. 
 
Hankin received his bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering and English Literature from Syracuse University. After graduation, he spent time in England where he continued his studies at Oxford University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and is a regular guest lecturer with the Zell-Lurie Real Estate Program at The Wharton School. 
 
Hankin has been a long-time citizen and volunteer in the region and has served on the Board of Directors for many Chester County organizations. He has completed several projects with Engineers Without Borders in Africa and is currently working on a major building improvement project and scholarship program with the Village of the Arts and Humanities in North Philadelphia

Malcolm Weaver has diverse work experience in the banking industry. Weaver’s career in banking began 17 years ago as a Personal Banker at Citizens Bank and his commitment to the financial sector has led him to his current position as Vice President Commercial Loan Officer at Mid Penn Bank. Weaver has completed coursework at LaSalle University and Immaculata University with a concentration in Finance and Financial Management services. He continues his financial learning through various certifications and courses.  

A lifelong resident of Chester County, he currently lives in Coatesville with his family. Beyond his dedication to CCFB, Weaver is actively involved in coaching basketball and volunteering his time with local nonprofits and parks and recreation committees within the community.
