CCRES Appoints Matt Przywara as New Executive Director
CCRES, a leading non-profit provider of educational and behavioral health services, announces the appointment of Matt Przywara as its new Executive Director, as voted on by the CCRES Board of Directors on Thursday, July 18.
Przywara is expected to begin his tenure with CCRES on Sept. 2.
Matt Przywara brings a strong background in education and finance, as well as a profound dedication to supporting and improving special education services.
Przywara comes to CCRES from the School District of Lancaster (SDoL), where he was serving as the assistant superintendent. He served SDoL for nearly two decades in several roles, including business manager, chief of finance and operations, and acting superintendent.
“Matt is a proven leader who will bring great passion and energy to our mission at CCRES. We think his skills are a perfect complement to the outstanding team we already have in place”, said Mike Grigalonis, chairperson of the CCRES Board.
His leadership is expected to further the CCRES mission of delivering unparalleled care to the individuals they serve with special needs, and to provide support to intermediate units and district partners, as well as CCRES staff in the field.
Przywara said, “I am deeply honored and excited to join CCRES as the new Executive Director, and I look forward to collaborating with our Board and dedicated team to enhance our programs and partnerships to ensure that every individual we serve has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.”
Matt Przywara replaces Leon Spencer, who has served as Interim Executive Director for the last few months and will continue until Przywara begins.
Spencer has provided strong and consistent leadership during this transition.
“Matt Przywara brings a wealth of knowledge in education, finance, and leadership, and we welcome him to the CCRES family to further our mission and goals,” Spencer said.
CCRES is dedicated to providing exceptional educational and behavioral health services across Berks, Bucks, Chester, Cumberland, Delaware, Montgomery, Lancaster, Lebanon, and Philadelphia counties.
Its mission is to ensure quality educational and human service programs for children, families, and schools, in addition to grant opportunities.
With a steadfast commitment to delivering the highest quality services to children and adults experiencing behavioral health challenges, CCRES looks forward to continuing to expand and enhance its impact across Southeastern Pennsylvania under the leadership of Matt Przywara.
