The two-story, 1,800-square-foot shop, located across from the West Chester Post Office, currently has about 2,500 books for sale.

“It was a lot of work getting to this point, with many ups and downs,” said Lisa Strohl

The entire process took over a year, but for the couple, it was well worth it.

“It makes you feel good when those books come in and you feel the excitement that the reader is going to experience when they turn the pages,” said Ty Strohl.

The couple are now happy to be part of the community. They noted that West Chester has a charming small-town feel that lasts beyond events like the holiday parade, First Fridays, and Gallery Walks.

“We want to give back to the community because the town gives so much to this community,” said Ty Strohl.

The store sells fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books in all genres. If they do not have the book you want, they can order it.
