Timber Lanes, a popular Oxford bowling alley that has been a neighborhood mainstay since 1961, recently underwent a complete renovation and rebranded as Timber Wolfe Lanes Bowling Center & Pro Shop, writes Haleigh Abbott for the Chester County Press.

The mind behind the makeover is General Manager Catt Wolfe, who wanted to create a more family-friendly space to make people of all ages feel comfortable and excited to bowl.

“We wanted to bring it back to life for the community to know we’re here and it’s a safe and warm environment for families to come,” said Wolfe. “I’ve been a bowler for 25 years, I met my husband here and he is a bowler, so when it went up for sale it just made sense for us to take it over.”

Renovations started in May. The couple upgraded the facility’s electrical systems and installed a new electronic scoring system, LED and disco lights. They also added new flooring, new shoes, balls, fresh menu items, and a new color scheme.
