Filming recently took place on Scottish Stream Farm in Upper Uwchlan where animals, more specifically llamas, from owners Tara Higgins and Jeff Snodgrass took front and center, writes Bill Rettew for The Daily Local News.

Dave Patten, who is from Philadelphia and graduated from Temple University, filmed a portion of his film, Fox, utilizing the rolling hills and friendly farm animals. He acts as the director, producer, cinematographer, and editor of the film.

Patten emailed the couple with a description of the film reading “After being saved by a stranger from a savage beating by a rival gang, a newly homeless young slacker must seek refuge from a kingpin’s revenge at his savior’s farm. However, his new home takes a mysterious turn and a question needs to be answered: did he just get taken in by a cult?”

Originally he wanted chickens in the background, but the llamas were the perfect addition.

Higgins and Snodgrass stated that llamas are quite smart and curious, as well as a little sassy when they spit at each other (but not at their humans.)

“I’m looking forward to seeing all the animals,” Higgins said. “I’m looking forward to seeing how it all comes together.”
