Chocolate and Jay, two shelter dogs, have been adopted recently after waiting for months at the Brandywine Valley SPCA.

Two longtime shelter pups were recently adopted from the Brandywine Valley SPCA, writes Cherise Lynch for NBC 10 Philadelphia.

Shelter residents, Chocolate and Jay, have been picked by their forever families.

Before their adoption, Chocolate had spent 556 days at the Georgetown campus and Jay had spent 250 days at the West Chester campus.

“We are beyond thrilled that these two sweeties have homes where they can get lots of attention and love,” wrote the Brandywine Valley SPCA in a Facebook post. “Thank you and congratulations to all of our adopters who welcomed a new pet into their home this week.”

The Brandywine Valley SPCA will host a Walk for Paws event on April 27 at West Goshen Community Park from 10 AM – 1 PM.
