Medford, New Jersey, native Emma Patragnoni is a Senior Solution Architect at RKL Virtual Management Solutions where she leads the technology implementation process for all new clients.

“I redesign the accounting process for clients to make it more efficient and fit within the new technologies our team uses,” said Patragnoni. “I enjoy working with clients from a variety of industries. I am constantly learning new things and have to adapt to meet the client’s needs and the RKL team’s needs and time constraints.”

When she was 16, Patragnoni worked as an intern at the Whalehead Club in Corolla, North Carolina.

“Whalehead is a historic, 1920s-era mansion turned museum,” said Patragnoni. “I worked in the gift shop and assisted with home tours.”

Patragnoni graduated from Shawnee High School in 2016 and completed her bachelor’s degree at Saint Joseph’s University in 2020, where she double majored in accounting and business intelligence. After completing her undergraduate degree, Patragnoni continued at Saint Joseph’s University, achieving a master’s degree in business intelligence and analytics in 2022 while also working full-time at RKL.

“During my time at RKL, I have achieved multiple professional certifications, including Sage Intacct Certified Implementation Consultant, Sage Intacct Certified Accounting Consultant, and I am a Certified Implementer of Avalara AvaTax,” she said. “I have also completed RSM’s Power BI University.”

Patragnoni credits her current boss, Victoria Pritchard, with strongly impacting her career and recalls her proudest professional moment as obtaining her Sage Implementation Consultant certification and becoming the lead for all technology implementations in RKL Virtual.

“She has advocated for non-traditional accounting roles — such as Senior Solution Architect — and has encouraged me to lead the onboarding and technology implementation process for new RKL clients,” said Patragnoni.

Patragnoni’s favorite Chester County spot to eat is Estrella in Downingtown.
