2021 VISTA Millennial Superstars: Eric Light

By

West Chester native and Henderson High School graduate Eric Light is Senior Vice President at WSFS Bank, the largest and longest-standing locally managed bank and trust company headquartered in Delaware and the Greater Delaware Valley.

Light, who began working at a welding shop when he was 15 years old, earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Information Systems from Susquehanna University. He credits Brian Zwaan, the Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking at WSFS Bank, and Pat Ward, the Pennsylvania Market President at WSFS Bank, with having the biggest impact on his career.

“As a team, they lead by example and showed us how to be good businesspeople but also compassionate human beings,” Light said.

His proudest professional accomplishment is witnessing the success of his clients.

“Knowing that I was an integral part of the process makes me proud,” Light said. “Through making connections, providing business advice, and financing, I’ve watched my clients’ businesses grow and succeed even in difficult times.”

Light’s favorite Chester County restaurant is Market Street Grill in West Chester.

“Every breakfast and lunch there is like Cheers,” he said. “It’s about the people.”
