Treetops Kitty Cafe is the Purr-fect Spot to Grab a Cappuccino and Rescue a New Friend
Treetops Kitty Cafe in Kennett Square is the perfect spot for coffee, tea, and cat lovers, reports Sheila Watko for NBC10 Philadelphia.
Treetops is a rescue that pulls most of their cats from over-crowded shelters or intercepts them on their way there.
Customers at Treetops Kitty Cafe can sit back and relax with a nice cup of coffee or, while hanging out and meeting the friendly rescue felines, even possibly finding their next family member.
Treetops opened in 2017 and since its opening, the cafe has found homes for 841 cats. All their cats come from animal shelters; the cats that no one wanted – the seniors, the shy ones, the sassy ones, and those who were abandoned by their previous owners and those with. medical issues.
The Treetops cats free-roam the cafe all day long rather than being stuck in a cage. With the ability to free roam, their personalities can shine.
Reservations are encouraged, as the cafe gets busy on the weekends. Both the admission price of $15 and sales from the retail shop go back to helping care for the rescued kitties.
