Just down the road from the Target renovation at the West Goshen Shopping Center, the former site of the West Chester Area School District’s Spellman Administration Building is getting revamped with the construction of a Popeyes, writes Bill Rettew for The Daily Local News.

Also home to a new Aldi, the Popeyes construction on a 16.98-acre site is moving along with the outer walls already up. Additionally, there is space for a third business available, but none have been named yet.

Popeyes joins a stretch of fast-food chains that already occupy the Paoli Pike-Gay Street corridor including Wendy’s, McDonald’s, and Taco Bell. There are also talks of a Chick-fil-A opening at the West Goshen Shopping Center as well, taking over the space that once housed a Fotomat.

Chris Robbins, owner of the shopping center, said that Chick-fil-A may be open in the third quarter of 2024.

However, there has yet to be an opening announcement for Popeyes.
