The Home of the Sparrow is hosting an inaugural Golf Outing on Monday, June 17 at the newly renovated Waynesborough Country Club, 440 Darby Paoli Road in Paoli.

The day’s events include lunch, golf, classic contests and prizes, a cocktail hour and dinner.

Presenting sponsor for the fundraising event is Delaware Valley Paving.

The Registration sponsor is McKee Builders, along with Forcine Concrete & Construction Company as the On-Course Hospitality sponsor.

Home of the Sparrow partners with women facing homelessness to secure housing, achieve long-term stability, and chart new paths for their futures. 

Funds raised will directly assist women, mothers and children with services that include:

• emergency eviction intervention with direct payments to landlords
• rent subsidies giving a woman time to increase her income and decrease her expenses
• security deposits
• specialized housing assistance for women re-entering the community after incarceration
• housing in an HOS home for pre-senior women waiting for subsidized housing vouchers
• support for Home of the Sparrow graduates and their children through access to family-friendly events and donations from the community
