Soko Bag will be opening soon in Phoenixville.

The restaurant scene in Chester County continues to thrive, with several new restaurants already being predicted to open in 2024, writes Michael Klein for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

One of these new additions is 9 Prime at 9 N. High Street in West Chester. The 400-seat steak house on two levels in a former bank with a retractable roof is set to open in January/February. Chef Fabio Viviani, who was made famous by Bravo’s Top Chef, is attached to the project.

Also opening in January is Soko Bag at 95 Nutt Road in Phoenixville. The Korean fried chicken pop-up run by Alice Chang and Shea Roggio will have its permanent home at the former Sal’s Pizza Box. The location will offer boneless birds and beer.

Meanwhile, White Dog Cafe is opening another outpost in the county. Fearless Restaurants’ canine-influenced American brand is set to open its newest location at 192 E. Welsh Pool Road in Chester Springs on the former site of Vickers Tavern sometime in the spring.
