The 108th Pennsylvania Farm Show recently took place, with the annual beer competition also awarding breweries from around the state. This Malvern-based brewery took home awards in two out of 23 categories, writes staff for Breweries in PA.

While not all breweries qualify to participate, 44 breweries across 26 Pennsylvania counties submitted their beers to be judged.

Locust Lane Craft Brewery won first place in two categories: Light German Beer and Sour And Wild Ales.

Their Farmhouse Pils Lager won in Light German Beer, beating out Hemauer Brewing Company from Mechanicsburg. Additionally, Locust Lane also won third place for their Kolsch Ale.

Their Cherry Preserves Sour Ale won in the second category and there was no other competition, putting them immediately on top.

“We are excited to have received THREE awards for our local brews, including one for The Furrow Blendery!” said the brewery in a recent Facebook post.
