Urban Outfitters has closed Amis Trattoria at Devon Yard, the last location of its Roman-Italian bistro on the Main Line, and is planning to open a new event center and an expanded Pizzeria Vetri at the space, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Amis Trattoria closed for good last Wednesday.

“To be a part of the community in Devon Yard was a wonderful experience, and we’re delighted that our sister brands, Pizzeria Vetri and Terrain Events, will get to write the next chapter within our walls,” wrote the restaurant on Instagram.

Philadelphia-based Urban Outfitters will use part of the space to open The Atrium at Terrain Gardens, a new 50-person private event center. This will join the already existing 150-person Terrain Gardens event space in Devon Yard.

The event center, which is expected to open this spring, will feature farmhouse-inspired furnishings along with skylights and a garden-centric patio.

The rest of the site will be used as extra space for the adjacent Pizzeria Vetri, which opened in July 2021.
