A. Duie Pyle has expanded into Maine with a new facility.

West Chester-based A. Duie Pyle further enhanced its Northeast network with the recent opening of its new facility in Bangor, Maine, according to a staff report from The Daily Local News

The move is expected to strengthen the position of the transportation and logistics provider as the “leading supply chain solutions provider in the region,” said the family-owned and operated company.

The opening is the company’s first expansion in 2024, a year when the provider of asset and non-asset-based supply chain solutions will celebrate its centennial.

“We’re kicking 2024 off with a bang, as this new facility enables us to solidify our industry-leading presence across the Northeast,” said John Luciani, COO of LTL Solutions at A. Duie Pyle. “This strategic addition to our network brings a higher level of LTL, dedicated and warehouse and distribution support to our customers in Central and Northern Maine.”

The company plans to continue expanding throughout the year in order to enhance Pyle’s service center network and “expand our capabilities to service more customers,” added Luciani.

The new facility currently employs 12 people, with nine more positions expected to be added by the end of the year.
