Actress from Fairless Hills to Make Broadway Debut in ‘An Enemy Of the People’

Actress Victoria Pedretti, who is from Fairless Hill, will make her Broadway debut in 2024 in the show An Enemy Of the People, directed by Sam Gold and produced by Seaview, Patrick Catullo, and Plan B, writes Greg Evans for Deadline.

Pedretti became well known through starring in the Netflix series The Haunting of Hill House (2018) where she played Nell Crain and You (2019), playing Love Quinn opposite of Penn Badgley.

An Enemy Of the People, an 1882 Norwegian play written by Henrik Ibsen, has been modernly adapted by Tony Award winner Amy Herzog. It focuses on a small-town doctor, Dr. Thomas Stockmann, who thinks himself to be an upstanding member of society, but when he discovers something that affects the lives of everyone in the community, he tries to raise the alarm. Much to his own, Stockmann is being silenced and threatened by those in power instead of helping.

Pedretti will play the daughter of Dr. Stockmann, Petra Stockmann. She will play the opposite of Succession‘s Jeremy Strong and The SopranosMichael Imperioli, who will play Dr. Stockmann.

The play opens on March 18, 2024, with previews set to start in the Square Theatre on Tuesday, Feb. 27. It will only be available to attend for a 16-week run.
