The Colonial Theatre and executive producer Grady Craig are partnering to present an advanced screening of Scrambled. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the theatre as well as the Pottstown-based nonprofit Hobart’s Run.  Doors will open at 6 p.m.

Scrambled is a female-led comedy written, directed, and acted by Leah McKendrick. It’s the story of a broke, single millennial–the eternal bridesmaid–who unleashes an existential crisis when she freezes her eggs.

The film is described as a seriously funny emotional journey.  It is slated for wide release in early 2024. The film’s distributor, Lionsgate, has graciously approved this benefit screening.

This is the second charitable event Craig and The Colonial have presented. Last year saw a sold-out fundraising screening of the film Dig.

Originally from Chester Springs, Grady Craig is a 2014 Hill School graduate with a strong interest in giving back to his home region and the greater Pottstown community.

He is the Vice President of Business Development and Operations for BondIt Media Capital, a Santa Monica-based film, TV, and content financing firm. He will be in attendance for this sneak preview.

Hobart’s Run is a 501(c)(3) neighborhood initiative founded by The Hill School in 2016 to create a clean and safe community, foster inclusivity, provide incentives for home ownership and property pride, and generate quality business development.

General admission tickets ($22) are available now at thecolonialtheatre.com under the Films tab. Colonial Members may pay $20.
