QVC Brand Ambassador Selma Blair Teams Up with Designer to Create Accessible Fashion Collection
Selma Blair, the popular actress and QVC Brand Ambassador for Accessibility who has multiple sclerosis, teamed up with her longtime friend, renowned designer Isaac Mizrahi, to create the accessible fashion collection Isaac Mizrahi Live! x Selma Blair, writes Mara Reinstein for the Parade.
The collection combines style with accessibility solutions and was developed through collaboration with the disability community.
“I think it’s a wonderful thing to make things easier and better for differently abled people to experience selection,” said Mizrahi.
The clothes started exclusively debuting on QVC in early October. The garments are machine-washable and include accessible features such as easy-open necklines, magnetic closures, and flat seams, among many others. There are also versions of the pants for people in wheelchairs.
True to the actress’ style, the wardrobe is casual and cool and the fashion collection has proven to be a hit on QVC.
“Our customers love seeing Isaac and Selma’s genuine relationship, their authenticity, and listening to the story behind this collection,” said Rachel Ungaro, GMM and VP of Fashion Merchandising for QVC. “They have a shared passion for style and clothing that makes women feel their most beautiful and confident.”
