After swapping car parts for whiskey bottles, the Avellino brothers continue to bring good spirits to Chester County.

One Chester County distillery has found its way onto the list of fourteen most interesting spots in the Philadelphia region for rye, bourbon, rum, vodka, and more, writes Nick Vadala for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Brandywine Branch Distillers in Elverson is the brainchild of Don and Scott Avellino. The pair spent much of their lives in the auto industry, but that changed after they purchased a century-old stone barn in Chester County in 2014.

From there, they entered into the liquor world with confidence. Their popular Revivalist and Resurgent spirits brands focus on botanical gins and whiskeys, respectively.

Their spirits can be bought at their bottle shop and bistro as well as ordered online for delivery within Pennsylvania.

They also offer dining at their bistro and have paired with local artisans to bring fresh meat, cheese, produce, and baked goods to the table. Sourced from neighboring farms, they support the community and endeavor to bring delicious foods to the drinking experience.
