These Chester County School Districts are in the Top 50 in Pennsylvania

Unionville High School is part of the Unionville Chadds Ford School District made the Niche list of the 2024 Best Public School Districts in Pennsylvania.

Six Chester County school districts are among the top 50 on the Niche list of the 2024 Best School Districts in Pennsylvania. The ranking was based on an analysis of key statistics, reviews, and U.S. Department of Education data.  

The ranking list used factors such as graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, college readiness, and public school district ratings.  

Tredyffrin-Easttown School District in Wayne earned the No. 2 ranking on the list for its quality of teachers, academics, and extracurricular activities.  

Unionville-Chadds Ford made No. 13 on the list. The Kennett Square-based school district is lauded for its high-quality academics and college preparedness.  

West Chester Area School District in Exton ranked No. 20 for its academics, athletics, and college preparedness. It also has an average of a 15-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio.  

Other Chester County school districts that ranked high on the list include:  

21. Downingtown Area School District, Downingtown  

32. Great Valley School District, Malvern  

45. Owen J. Roberts School District, Pottstown
