Chester County is home to four of the top 50 best school districts for athletes in Pennsylvania, according to a recently published report by Niche.

To determine the 2023 Best School Districts for Athletes in Pennsylvania, Niche analyzed data from the U.S. Department of Education, as well as millions of reviews from students and parents. Factors considered include student and parent reviews of athletics, the number of sports offered, the number of students participating in athletics, and more.

The highest ranking school district in Chester County is Coatesville Area School District at No. 7, scoring an A+ for sports and a B- overall.

Coming in at No. 8 is West Chester Area School District with an A+ for both sports and overall score.

Tredyffrin-Easttown ranked at No. 18 with an A+ in both sports and overall scoring.

Finally at No. 25, Unionville-Chadds Ford scored an A in sports and an A+ for overall Niche scoring.
