Travis Meeks, Michael Blanton, and Marcus Winkey, long-time friends, food lovers, and Coatesville residents, have joined forces to open Taste Budz on 82, writes Bill Rettew for The Daily Local News. 

The trio teamed up with Animated Brewery as they believe that its craft beer brewed onsite perfectly complements the new restaurant’s menu. 

Winkey noted that while owning a new business is time consuming, they are all enjoying it. 

“We all grew up together and always thought we’d own a little corner store,” he said. “Everybody brought something to it. Everybody has their own little piece of the menu. We are trying to make something for everyone.” 

And the owners are making sure that their eatery is a family friendly place as all three of them have children. 

“We wanted to show our kids that you can become a business owner and be successful and not through just music or sports,” said Meeks. “I’m building it so I can leave it behind for my children.” 

The restaurant offers everything from Buffalo chicken cheese steaks and salmon cheese steaks as well as burgers, lamb seasoned fries and fried salmon sandwiches.
