Philadelphia was voted the Best Beer City thanks to its plethora of top-notch beer bars, plenty of craft breweries, and a year-round event calendar.

Next among the winners is Monk’s Corner, which was voted the Best Beer Bar. The bar is advertised as “the soul of Belgium in the heart of Philadelphia” and boasts more than 200 bottles and 25 taps. It also has a Beer Bible to help both seasoned beer aficionados and beer novices select the beer that best fits their palate.

Philly Bierfest took the top spot as the Best Beer Festival. The German-inspired bierfest was founded by Philadelphia’s German Society in 2011 to honor the cultural and historical connection that Pennsylvania shares with Germany.

“Since the return from the pandemic [hiatus], this event has emerged as one of the best,” noted expert Gary Monterosso.

Finally, Love City Gardens, which offers beers from Love City Brewing, was voted the Best Beer Garden.
