These Chester County Thrift Shop Offer Stylish Fits at Affordable Prices
Chester County is home to several thrift shops that are great places to find the perfect fit at affordable prices and expand your wardrobe, writes Ben Silver for Main Line Today.
Saint James Thrift Shop in Downingtown was established in 1977 as an outreach as part of St. James’ Episcopal Church to help people in the community with secondhand clothes. Fifty-six years later, Saint James is still going strong. The same person has been running the shop for the last 37 years.
Meanwhile, Westminster Thrift Shop, which is part of Westminster Presbyterian Church in West Chester, is currently enjoying its 33rd season. The shop is currently closed, but you can expect a host of new items when it reopens on Sept. 4. The shop restocks daily.
