Three lucky goslings are safely back with their parents after they wandered into a storm drain at Great Valley Corporate Center in Malvern, writes Michael P. Rellahan for The Daily Local News

The three baby geese were saved by a group of quick-thinking Malvern residents. Alex Melnikov and his wife Anastasiia Melnikova, along with their friend, Uladzimir Tsimashevich, were able to help the unfortunate youngsters by using a hiking stick that served as a ladder.

After the three tiny birds walked out, the trio secured them in a plastic bag and transported them to a nearby pond near a flock of geese. The babies swam towards them and were reunited with what appeared to be their parents.

“The goslings were happy,” said Melnikov. “We were as well.”
