Gus Deraco’s Italian Sandwiches in Lebanon, a long-time, family-owned shop that opened in 1978, is getting a new life after it closed and was listed for sale earlier this year. The youngest daughter of Deraco, Traci Ginnona, and her Chester County-raised husband Ron Ginnona, are the new owners of the shop, writes Mac Bell for abc27 News.

The couple plans to give the place a revamp with some modern changes including painting, new floors, and updated decor, while still keeping the local legacy alive. They also will update the website and add more hours of operation.

“Ron and I do a lot of entertaining in our free time – when we saw the family business go up for sale we knew we wanted to keep the tradition of what my dad started alive,” said Traci.

While these are just some of the changes they want to make, the Ginnonas will keep their favorite menu items and breakfast hours. More announcements are on the way as they prepare for opening in June.

“It feels a little weird but we are really excited about [opening],” said Ron.
