Could Bobby Flay’s Restaurant Chain Be Eyeing Chester County for New Location?
Celebrity chef Bobby Flay is looking to enter Greater Philadelphia with his restaurant chain Bobby’s Burgers and could be eyeing Chester County for its first location, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The move is part of Flay’s U.S. and international franchise expansion plan. The brand is currently looking for a multi-unit development agreement with a local franchise.
“We’re looking for folks that really have that multi-unit experience within the industry, that can kind of grow the concept hand-in-hand with us together,” said Michael McGill, president of Intelligration Capital BB, the licensor and franchisor for Bobby’s Burgers.
The company chose the Philadelphia region due to the suburban, metro, and nontraditional opportunities that are available for potential future locations.
The first place in the Philadelphia region is most likely to be in an area with surrounding retail experiences that also has proximity to residential communities — which fits a number of locations in Chester County.
The menu at Bobby’s Burgers offers burgers, a fried chicken sandwich, fries, onion rings, and milkshakes. Breakfast options are also available at select locations.
