Enforcement Officer

This position’s duties involve maintaining compliance of all enforcement action with state and federal regulations, ensuring that payments are received and all provisions are followed, and addressing questions and concerns regarding child and spousal support cases. Additional responsibilities include performing case management duties and assisting at special hearings.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or related field with at least 6 months of experience, knowledge of Pennsylvania rules of civil procedure, and the ability to interface effectively with county management. Candidates should preferably have experience in case management or interaction with the public and the ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.

District Justice Clerk

This position’s will docket traffic, non-traffic, civil and criminal complaints, schedule hearings and record depositions at hearings, collect, record, balance and deposit payments. Other responsibilities include preparing, issuing or recalling warrants, processing and distributing daily mail, and maintaining the file system.

The ideal candidate should have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), at least six months to one year of job-related experience, and excellent customer service skills. Candidates should be able to operate standard office equipment, and preferably have knowledge of vehicle laws and regulations, standard district court procedures and policies, and be able provide procedural information without providing legal advice.

Professional Engineer

This position’s responsibilities include participating in regional and statewide conservation programs and trainings, providing quality technical support and leadership, and having a familiarity with traditional and emerging engineering practices. Other duties include preparing monthly and quarterly reports to District Director and promoting storm water management and green infrastructures.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering with at least five years of experience in natural resource conservation or similar fields. Candidates should be experienced with AutoCAD, be able to mentor and train co-workers, and be in attendance of professional development classes.
