Root Down Brewing in Phoenixville will be one of 25 breweries in the Keystone State to serve an IPA benefitting Pennsylvania veterans.

The Keystone State’s breweries are collaborating on giving back to veterans. Twenty-three veteran-owned or operated breweries helped create “Adapt and Overcome: Get Your Six” hazy IPA, with proceeds going to Keystone Military Families, writes Maggie Mancini for PhillyVoice.

Twenty-five breweries will be serving the IPA.

Two Chester County establishments will be participating in the release of this philanthropic Pale Ale, which is brewed by veterans. Root Down Brewing in Phoenixville and Levante Brewing in West Chester will be serving the brew.

The non-profit money is being raised for donated groceries, household items, clothing, and other essentials to veterans. It also sends care packages overseas.

This is the fourth time Pennsylvania craft breweries worked together to raise money for this cause, writes Mancini.

The pale ale is set to release May 26, just in time for Memorial Day Weekend.
