These Chester County Places Have the Fastest-Growing Home Prices in Pennsylvania

Four Chester County places are among those with the fastest-growing home prices in Pennsylvania, according to a new report by Stacker

Cities were ranked based on the dollar change in Zillow Home Values Index for all homes for the twelve months ending March 2023. 

Devon tops the list. The town has a typical home value of $828,402, which is a $59,367 increase year-over-year (7.7 percent) and a $223,391 price change over five years  (36.9 percent). 

Berwyn follows closely in fourth place. Its typical home value is $820,800. Its one-year price increase is $44,998 (5.8 percent) and a five-year price change comes out to $207,115 (33.7 percent). 

West Chester is next in seventh place. Its typical home value of $568,041 is $37,178 higher than a year ago (7 percent) and $148,728 higher than five years ago (35.5 percent). 

Malvern also placed in the top ten in ninth place with a typical home value of $680,906, a one-year increase of $35,770 (5.5 percent), and a five-year increase of $176,485 (35 percent).
