Phoenixville’s Baba’s Brew, the woman-owned farm-to-bottle kombucha brand, is launching Baba’s Turbo Squirrel, an energy-boosting kombucha made with all-natural, plant-based energy.
Turbo Squirrel comes in three flavors: Reishi Lemon, Cordyceps Ginger, and Passion Fruit Lion’s Mane.
Starting with May 22, drinks can be found at Mid-Atlantic region Whole Foods Markets, Riverwards, MOM’S Organic Market, DiBruno’s, and Weaver’s Way Co-op. Turbo Squirrel can also be picked up at Baba’s Bucha tasting room — dubbed A Culture Factory — in Phoenixville, where it has been available for the last week.
To create the new energy drink, Baba’s Brew Owner and Founder Olga Sorzano mixed her raw kombucha with plant-based ingredients which are designed to boost brain function and cognition. These include adaptogenic mushrooms, guayusa, guarana, and yerba mate.
“For those who want a boost of energy, but don’t want to feel jittery and anxious, Turbo Squirrel is the perfect option,” said Sorzano. “By using adaptogenic mushrooms, Turbo Squirrel can increase energy, focus, and endurance without those negative side effects – perfect for students, athletes, or anyone who leads a busy life!”
Baba’s Turbo Squirrel is available for $5 to $5.50 per can.
