Madi’s On a Roll Opens Egg-Cellent New Storefront in Exton
In 2018, Madi McShane left her day job with nothing but a dream and a bunch of egg rolls. She wanted to start a food truck for her creations but didn’t have the means, writes Gina Lizzo for Main Line Today.
“I had zero plan, zero idea what I was doing and zero help. Looking back, I’m not quite sure how I did it. I was 23, and I must have been way stronger and motivated than I give myself credit for!” said McShane.
What started out as selling her uniquely flavored egg rolls, such as jalapeno poppers, shrimp, and French toast at festivals, farmer’s markets, and breweries has now blossomed into her very own brick-and-mortar storefront.
Madi’s on a Roll in Exton opened this past week, which sells frozen prepackaged egg rolls, chips, and homemade sauces. She’s even planning egg roll-making classes, egg roll tastings, and other events.
The West Chester alum and her husband are also expecting their first child, who is due in June.
