C&N announces that Thomas Howley has been promoted to Vice President and Commercial Lending Relationship Manager II, based in Doylestown.

Howley has been with C&N since 2020, joining through the Covenant Bank acquisition.

In his role as Commercial Lending Relationship Manager, Howley demonstrated a commitment to:

  • Super customer service
  • Strong communication skills and extensive lending
  • Analytics and credit discipline

He was instrumental in guiding his clients and prospects through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) application, portal, and forgiveness process during a period of market uncertainty and complexity.

Prior to joining C&N, Howley held various credit positions at Covenant Bank and Team Capital Bank, most notably as a Credit Manager. He was instrumental in the growth and implementation of a formal Credit Department, credit analyst training program and various underwriting and policy projects.

Tom graduated with honors from Saint Joseph’s University, where he earned a B.A. in Business Administration, with a major in Finance and a minor in Italian.

He is also a graduate of the Risk Management Association Commercial Lending School (Mastery Exams) and the Accredited Banking Professional Program (The Emmerich Group).

“We are thrilled to promote Thomas Howley to Vice President and Commercial Lending Relationship Manager II,” said Gregory W. Adamson, Regional Commercial Lending Executive.

“Tom’s continued efforts toward the success of the region and the overall growth of C&N have been invaluable. His collaborative work ethic, sound credit background, analytical mindset and understanding of the commercial lending product suite make him an asset to his team members, clients and community.”

Howley resides in Erdenheim with his wife and daughter and has volunteered at Healthy Kids Running Series in West Philadelphia and Habitat for Humanity.
