Nidhin Davis, a native of India who moved to the U.S. when he was 21 years old, is the Director of Mobility Engineering at CTDI, the engineering, repair, and logistics company based in West Chester that provides best-cost solutions to the communications industry.

“What I enjoy the most about my job is that I get to work on cutting-edge products and developing innovative robotic test solutions, which has always been my passion,” he said. “This involves both hardware and software aspects, and that makes my job more enjoyable.”

Davis earned his bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in India. After moving to the U.S., he graduated from Ohio University with a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and completed a leadership and management certificate program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He credits his first supervisor at CTDI, Paul Casale, with having the biggest impact on his career.

“Paul mentored me and shaped me in the early days of my career,” said Davis. “Working with Mark Parsons — helping me to gain an understanding of business needs very closely and working closely with him on new robotic technologies — has also made a big impact on me.”

Davis’s proudest professional achievement is the engineering team that he’s built over the years and seeing what it is capable of.

“I’m very proud of the great engineering test solutions delivered, particularly REV-2 and EVO-3, which is our latest and greatest technologies for smartphones testing and grading,” he said.

Davis’s favorite Chester County restaurant is Iron Hill Brewery in West Chester.

Davis and the rest of the 2023 Class of VISTA Millennial Superstars will be honored at the Awards Reception & Celebration on Thursday, May 18 at Penn State Great Valley.
