West Chester native and Henderson High School graduate Frank Monterosso is Associate Corporate Counsel at Campbell Soup Company.

“I negotiate various types of agreements on behalf of Campbell,” he said. “My favorite part of my job is knowing that I contribute, even in the smallest of ways, toward the growth and future of an iconic and quintessentially American brand. Seeing our array of products and brands throughout grocery stores and knowing that they are going into millions of homes each day brings me great pride.”

Monterosso, who began working at Brandywine Picnic Park when he was 12 years old, is also a board member at Friends Association, a local nonprofit focused on solutions to family homelessness.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Boston College and his J.D. from Villanova University. He credits Lee Rosengard of Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young with having the biggest impact on his career.

“He has been my mentor since I was a summer associate at the firm in 2010,” said Monterosso. “To this day, Lee continues to play an integral part in my life and career.”

Monterosso’s proudest professional achievement was representing a refugee through asylum proceedings.

“She was forced to flee her home, and sadly, her husband and four children in the process,” he said. “My colleague and I successfully defended her claim and later her family’s claim. We were lucky enough to be present at the airport as they reunited after four years and an ocean apart.”

His favorite Chester County restaurants are Levante Brewery Company, Spence Café, and Greystone Oyster Bar in West Chester.

Monterosso and the rest of the 2023 Class of VISTA Millennial Superstars will be honored at the Awards Reception & Celebration on Thursday, May 18 at Penn State Great Valley.
