Williamsport native Elizabeth Hodgson is an Attorney at Fox Rothschild in Exton, where she represents startup and growth-stage companies and closely held businesses in the life sciences, technology, healthcare, software, and information technology sectors.

“I work with these companies from formation to exit, advising and counseling them on everything from day-to-day contract matters to securities offerings to commercialization of products and services to merger and acquisition transactions,” she said. “I love familiarizing myself with a client’s business and becoming a key member of the client’s ‘village’ that helps it grow and thrive.”

Hodgson, whose first job was selling programs as a 12-year-old at the Little League World Series, earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Penn State and a J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law. As a student, she was editor-in-chief of the Penn State Law Review and a member of the Woolsack Honor Society.

She credits three of her colleagues at Fox Rothschild — Michael Harrington, Terry Kerwin, and Stephanie Nolan Deviney — with having the biggest impact on her career.

Hodgson’s proudest professional achievement was closing the first deal that she ran independently.

“And being chosen as a VISTA Millennial Superstar!” she said.

Beyond her work at Fox Rothschild, Hodgson is the President of the Board of Directors at Home of the Sparrow, a nonprofit that strives to prevent homelessness among women and children in Chester County. She has also served on the Girls Advisory Board and Grant Allocation Committee for the Chester County Fund for Women and Girls and as a mentor for liberal arts students at Penn State who are considering a career in law.

Her favorite Chester County restaurant is Andiario in West Chester.

Hodgson and the rest of the 2023 Class of VISTA Millennial Superstars will be honored at the Awards Reception & Celebration on Thursday, May 18 at Penn State Great Valley.
