The Eagles’ new helmets are getting the green light, literally. TempLids, based out of Chester Springs, has released the new team helmets in Kelly green, according to 94 WIP Sportsradio.
The leafy shade was allegedly whipped up by paint manufacturer SportsCoat.
Since June of 2021 football teams across the country were officially given permission to be able to use two different helmets. Now, the Birds can fly in green from head to toe.
In addition to the helmets, the Eagles are also returning the Kelly green jerseys for the 2023 season. Despite the Super Bowl loss, hopefully the green color will bring the Philadelphia Eagles a little more luck for next season.
